The Code Yellow at Royal Darwin Hospital and Palmerston Regional Hospital has been lifted.
The Code Yellow was issued due to pressures in the Emergency Department, and general medicine and emergency surgery admissions.
Due to a number of measures being implemented including the sourcing of additional beds and the rescheduling of some elective surgeries, demand pressures have eased and patient flow has improved.
Elective surgery will operate as usual from tomorrow, Thursday 23 July.

The Palmerston Urgent Care Clinic is located at 3 Gurd Street, Farrar. The Darwin Urgent Care Clinic is located at 4/8 Osgood Drive, Eaton.
Both clinics are open from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week. Walk-in care, no appointments necessary and fully bulk-billed.
