Coffs Harbour City
Coffs Harbour City Council will be mentioned before the Local Court in October 2022, in relation to allegations made by the Environment Protection Authority about maintenance deficiencies in five wells and their associated flowlines, which form part of the Englands Road Landfill Gas Collection System, during the period August 2020 and November 2021.
Coffs Harbour City Council General Manager Natalia Cowley said “I want to assure the community that Council takes its environmental protection licence conditions very seriously and the management of waste is a key focus area.”
Council will provide further comment once the Court process has concluded.
