Coffs Harbour’s Jetty Memorial Theatre is rolling out the red carpet for 2022, jam-packed with something for everyone including world class, Aria Award-winning entertainment. It’s a gold class line up of cabaret, music, comedy, film, dance and kids shows.
To kick start the year the Coffs community is invited to the 2022 season launch event – “Reimagine – A world of possibilities” on Wednesday 16 February. The event will present their 2022 Season Program treating patrons to a sneak peek of the exciting events planned throughout the year and a special performance featuring Stewart Reeve in Chameleon, an award-winning one-man show displaying an amazing array of breathtaking vocal abilities, spanning decades of hit songs and unique celebrity voices ranging from Frank-N-Furter to Annie Lennox, Depeche Mode, Simply Red, Macy Gray, Tones and many more.
“We’re looking forward to the Theatre coming alive again with vibrancy and enthusiasm,” said Natalie Boyle, Venue Coordinator, after COVID-19 disrupted much of the previous year’s program.
“The program is an invitation to restart, reconnect, recreate and just rejoice in new ways of thinking.”
Other shows throughout the year will include:
- “The Spooky Men’s Chorale”, offering a delectable musical treat. If you want to joyously experience a wall of man-sound, laugh stupidly, and venture into areas of great tenderness then this show is for you
- Kate Cerebrano, the wonderful, iconic and 3 x Aria award winning singer will hit the stage in July
- “Rebel” – a live circus rock tribute to the original rebel, David Bowie.
Kids will have heaps to look forward to as well with more shows than ever before including “The Alphabet of Awesome Science”, “Carnival of the Animals” and their first ever “kids open day” where kids and families are invited to experience the wonderful world of theatre and to explore the venue.
The full 2022 season printed program will be released in line with the Season Launch event on Wed 16 Feb although we have a digital sneak peek available now for those who can’t wait.
