Comanchero OMCG member, associate charged over cocaine supply, NSW

A senior member and an associate of the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) will appear in court today charged over the alleged commercial supply of cocaine in Sydney’s south.

As part of ongoing targeting and disruption of the illicit activities of criminal networks, police from the Criminal Groups Squad’s Strike Force Raptor, stopped a Toyota Hiace van at Arncliffe about 2.30pm yesterday (Wednesday 25 March 2020), and spoke to the occupants – two men – aged 29 and 34.

During searches of the men, police located a total of 40g cocaine in their underwear.

They were both arrested and taken to St George Police Station.

Shortly after, two search warrants were executed at units in Arncliffe and Brighton-Le-Sands, where detectives seized 1kg of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, jewellery, mobile phones, documents and $37,000 cash.

The 34-year-old man, who is a Comanchero OMCG member, was charged with supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity), supply prohibited drug (between indictable and commercial quantity), and deal with proceeds of crime.

The 29-year-old man, who is a Comanchero OMCG associate, was charged with supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity), and two counts of supply prohibited drug (between indictable and commercial quantity).

They were both refused bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court today (Thursday 26 March 2020).
