Riders and spectators will now comfortably enjoy the West Kempsey Pump Track with seating and shelter installed at the community space, making it a pleasant and great outing.
Shade shelters and seating are now on site at the pump track thanks to sponsorship from local organisations and a contribution from Kempsey Shire Council.
Community organisations generously donated funds towards the infrastructure, including platinum sponsors Macleay Valley Vocational College and Kempsey Community Suicide Prevention after the West Kempsey Pump Track committee called for support.
This purpose-built track is tailored to suit riders at varying levels of experience, with a beginner’s section for younger riders to practice their skills before entering the main part of the track. Now, with shade and seating, families and groups happily watch on and rest out of the sun and heat.
The space is located on Polwood Street West Kempsey.
