The Emissions Reduction Assurance Committee is seeking feedback on the proposed revocation of an Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) method.
The Commercial and Public Lighting method credits emissions reductions from improved energy performance in commercial, industrial and public lighting systems.
A crediting period extension review found no evidence to support an extension of the crediting period for activities under the method.
The Committee undertakes crediting period extension reviews to ensure that projects registered under the method are still achieving a carbon abatement that is unlikely to happen in the ordinary course of events.
