Police in Tennant Creek have issued a 60-year-old male a Notice to Appear after 82 cannabis plants and plant material was located at his property today.
Police were alerted to the presence of the plants when the male called them to report that a number of individuals had been stealing them.
A search warrant was executed at the property, with the plants ranging in size from seedlings to two metres tall located. 250 grams of cannabis plant material was also found inside the residence.
The male will appear in court for the charges of:
- Cultivate commercial quantity of cannabis
- Supply dangerous drug
- Possess traffickable amount of cannabis
