Following the NSW Government’s recent approval of the second stage of the Boco Rock Wind Farm electricity generation project, the Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund and its committee are open to the whole of the Snowy Monaro region from 2024.
Expressions of interest for community membership positions on the Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund Committee are open now, with submissions accepted until Friday 19 April 2024.
Council is asking people across the Snowy Monaro to put their hand up to be a part of this important committee. Members are responsible for deciding which local community groups and initiatives receive funding from the Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund, based on assessment criteria.
Expressions of interest for membership positions are invited from community members across the region until Friday 19 April 2024.
To express an interest in Committee membership, simply submit to Council a short written summary of your experience working with community groups in our region.
The Boco Rock Sub Committee will select the six new members based on merit, from the expressions of interest received.
