Community club attempted robbery

Police are investigating a Parafield Gardens attempted robbery that occurred last year and are seeking public assistance.

Just after 11.30pm on Thursday 16 November, police attended a community club on Shepherdson Road at Parafield Gardens after reports a man entered the club armed with a firearm and threatened staff.

The suspect left empty-handed and fled to the car park where a light-coloured sedan, being driven by a second suspect, was waiting. The vehicle was last seen travelling on Shepherdson Road.

Thankfully no one was injured and the man left empty handed.

The suspect is described as being about 165cm tall and he was wearing a navy hooded jumper, black pants, orange coloured shoes, black gloves and a black face covering.

On Saturday 18 November a firearm, believed to be used in this incident, was located in the vicinity of a Salisbury hotel.
