Community input vital to success of COVID-19 relief and recovery

Mildura Rural City Council is asking residents and businesses to share how COVID-19 is impacting them to ensure the municipal-wide COVID-19 Community Relief and Recovery Plan continues to be responsive to our region’s longer term needs.

A COVID-19 Recovery Survey has been created, allowing the community to quickly and easily outline how they’re being impacted by the pandemic and actions they believe are needed at a local level.

Council’s General Manager Community Martin Hawson said while a significant amount of work has already been done, and numerous relief measures already in place, it was critical to ensure the community’s long-term needs were identified.

“We’re already implementing many elements of our relief and recovery plan, however this survey will help us keep abreast of the ongoing impacts on our community, as well as what the future implications could be,” Mr Hawson said.

“By gathering and understanding this valuable information we can better support our community as we come out of the pandemic.”

The survey is open from today 2 November until Sunday 22 November and can be taken in several different ways:
