Community Lights Up Goulburn Park For Magic Night

More than 250 people turned out to Goulburn Park in Seymour on Saturday night for Lights on the Goulburn, as the community came together for an evening of light, music and connection.

The skies cleared in time for a great night out, with families, children and community members enjoying light installations, live music, roving entertainers and food trucks across the park.

A festive night for Seymour

From the moment dusk settled, Goulburn Park glowed with colour. Light projections lit up the park alongside performances and activities that kept the whole family entertained.

A highlight of the night was the community lantern parade, with more than 80 people taking part carrying a colourful variety of handmade lanterns through the park.

The free, one-off event was held to support community connection and recovery following recent flood and bushfire events, giving Seymour a chance to come together for a shared night of light and celebration.
