Cannington Detectives have charged a 25-year-old man as a result of their investigation into an incident that occurred around 10am on 25 March 2020 in Como.
It is alleged the man entered a supermarket located on Preston Street and was seen placing energy drinks into his pockets and backpack before attempting to leave without paying.
It is further alleged when challenged by staff, the man threatened a staff member with a knife.
The 25-year-old man from Coodanup has been charged with Armed Robbery and is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 9 April 2020.
