I congratulate Tasmanian hockey stars Josh Beltz, Eddie Ockenden and Jack Welch on their selection in the Kookaburras squad for 2021, with the potential to represent Australia at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
This is a tremendous and well deserved reward for the three Tasmanians, who have consistently been stand out performers on the field in recent years.
In an incredible achievement, Hobart born Eddie Ockenden will head into his 15th year of representing Australia.
The 16-player Kookaburras team to represent Australia at the rescheduled Tokyo Olympics is set to be announced in mid-2021.
