Boost your confidence with technology Hawkesbury Library Service’s new workshop series, Connect & Learn: Digital Skills for Adults.
Funded by The Parks, Sydney’s Parkland Councils, these hands-on workshops are targeted at adults wanting to improve essential digital skills, covering a range of practical tips for everyday life including how to use online databases, access Library eResources, using smart devices, Microsoft Office and more. Connect & Learn aims to support digital literacy and confidence for adults in the Hawkesbury Region.
The series will run in October and November at Hawkesbury Central Library, Windsor. Open to adults at any stage of life. Pick the workshops you are interested in, or book into the entire series.
October Workshops:
- Week 1: Introduction to Library Databases (Trove, Ancestry, FindMyPast)
- Week 2: Introduction to Library eResources (Libby, BorrowBox, uLibrary)
- Week 3: Introduction to Smartphones and Tablets.
- Week 4: Introduction to Microsoft Word and Excel
November Workshops:
