Kempsey Shire Council
Kempsey Shire Council is constructing a new waste disposal cell at the Waste Management Centre on Crescent Head Road to meet the waste demands for the next five years.
The new cell known as Waste Cell Four, is being constructed by Ditchfield Contracting who have been working on schedule to ensure the cell is completed in December this year.
The need to construct Waste Cell Four was identified as a priority as Council has seen a 10% increase in waste going into landfill over the past few years.
