Community consultation has commenced for the $7.1 million redevelopment of Montello Primary School as part of the Tasmanian Liberal Government’s plan to improve education outcomes.
This consultation includes an online survey and workshops with the school, with feedback received through this consultation to be used to help prioritise the scope of works and inform development of the master plan.
As part of the Tasmanian Liberal Government’s 2021 election policies, funding was committed to provide students and staff at Montello with contemporary new learning environments, associated support spaces and amenities.
The redevelopment of Montello Primary School is part of the Government’s record investment in new education facilities to help Tasmanian learners thrive.
We know that schools are the heart of a community and that this will be an exciting place of connection for people in Montello once complete.
I encourage the community to come forward as part of the consultation to have their say on this exciting redevelopment, which will ensure our students are learning in the best possible environments.
