The Cook Labor Government has officially opened Wellard Village Primary School.
The impressive new school includes an administration building, library, covered assembly block, music room, canteen, oval, hardcourts and cricket nets.
There are five early childhood learning classrooms for kindergarten and pre-primary students, and a general learning block with an inclusive education classroom, art and science room.
Two double storey teaching blocks with eight classrooms, central activity areas and collegiate areas have also been established.
Wellard Village Primary School offers students four specialist learning areas; media arts, physical education, music and Auslan.
The project is part of our significant $1.5 billion infrastructure program to deliver better public schools across Western Australia
