Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are currently on scene at a structure fire burning near Foxwell Road, Coomera. This fire broke out shortly after 2pm and crews are working to contain the blaze. Smoke may affect motorists on the M1, north of Exit 54. Motorists in the area should drive with caution and to conditions. Nearby residents affected by smoke should close their windows and doors, and keep any necessary respiratory medication close by. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
