A man aged in his 20s was caught drink driving in Ashwood early this morning.
Police intercepted a vehicle on High Street near Warrigal Road just after midnight when the male driver returned a positive preliminary breath test.
He was taken back to a police station where he returned an evidentiary breath test of .173.
The Chadstone man is expected to be charged in summons with drink driving and other related offences.
