Coronavirus- General Information

The coronavirus outbreak started in Hubei Provence, China and has spread to a number of neighbouring countries including Australia.

Currently there is no requirement for action and people can continue with their normal daily routines however we have listed some helpful tips and resources below.

Tips to stay safe:

Please continue to uphold healthy hygiene practices such as washing hands with soap or an alcohol-based hand sanitiser and covering your mouth if you cough or sneeze.

Anyone who has travelled to Hubei Province in the past 14 days, including Wuhan City, or is in close contact of a confirmed case is asked to:

  • Self-isolate at home and avoid public settings for 14 days after leaving Hubei Province.
  • Seek medical assistance if you become unwell during this time.
