A woman from Old Beach has been charged with drink driving and had her licence suspended after a single vehicle crash at Spring Farm Road, Kingston yesterday.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene about 2:40pm, after the vehicle reportedly veered off the road and collided with a sign.
Police attended and conducted a breath test, with the woman returning a reading of 0.262 (more than five times the legal limit).
She has been disqualified from driving for 12 months and will appear in court at a later date charged with drink driving.
The vehicle was significantly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
No injuries were reported.
