Council approves $149,000 in grants for community

At its Ordinary Council Meeting on 26 November, Adelaide Hills Council awarded $44,109 in grants to 21 local community groups through the Community Development Grants program and a further $105,000 to 18 groups through the Community and Recreation Facility Grants program.

“Our annual grants program is a reflection of Council’s commitment to supporting our local community in building connections and resilience,” said Mayor Jan-Claire Wisdom.

“This funding is a great testament to the community’s passion for growth and improvement of recreation and facilities; we are pleased to be able to contribute to so many projects that may not have been possible without the program.”

The 2020-21 grants program will open in September 2020.
