Council endorses Long-term Financial Plan

The Long-term Financial Plan — which is a key document in the Council’s Strategic Planning Framework — was approved at Council’s first meeting of 2021.

Mayor Robert Bria said endorsing the Plan assists the Council which is ensuring that it can continue to deliver enhanced and improved services by the most efficient and effective means possible, within the framework of financial sustainability.

“The Long-term Financial Plan is absolutely essential as it sets out the Council’s financial strategies and commitments over the long term,” Mayor Bria said.

“It explains how the Council will meet its obligations now and in the future, taking into account our services, our workforce, our finances and our assets.”
