Libraries, the Campbelltown Arts Centre and sport fields will reopen from Monday 1 June, with a number of restrictions in place on the advice of health authorities to ensure the safety of the community.
“We’re carefully reopening facilities with some limitations in place to ensure the safety of our community and staff,” Mayor George Brticevic said.
“It is important that we remain vigilant and follow the guidance of health authorities by adhering to physical distancing and limiting contact as much as possible,” Cr Brticevic said.
“Many of the online services that we have put in place will continue to operate while some services and programs at our libraries and arts centre remain suspended for the time being,” he said.
Libraries will open from 9.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday for people to borrow and return books only. Click and Collect borrowing, home delivery services to people over the age of 70 or are immune compromised and online programs continue to be provided.
Up to 50 people at a time will be able to enter the HJ Daley Library, up to 30 at the Greg Percival Library, Ingleburn and 25 at Eagle Vale and Glenquarie libraries.
Limited computer services will be available in most branches after the June long weekend.
The Campbelltown Arts Centre will open 10am to 5pm daily for up to 100 people at a time to view exhibitions and visit the Japanese Gardens.
The Arts Centre Café is open from 9.30am on weekdays and from 8.30am on weekends.
Sports fields are open to clubs and sporting organisations whose state bodies have released guidelines to train in groups of 10 people.
