Applications are now open for the FY26|27 Community Funding Program. Port Stephens Council is encouraging the local community to apply for funding that will help bring their ideas and dreams to life.
The Community Funding Program directly supports initiatives and individuals that strengthen the social, cultural, environmental and economic wellbeing of Port Stephens.
The annual funding streams opening on Wednesday 1 July 2026 include the Community Event Development Fund, Major Event Sponsorship Fund, Placemaking Fund and the Sporting Excellence Fund.
Port Stephens Mayor Leah Anderson said the funding program empowers the community to lead projects and achieve goals that build local pride.
“Our community groups, businesses, volunteers and athletes have the passion and dedication to make Port Stephens a vibrant, successful place,” Mayor Anderson said.
