Inspections of sports fields and ovals are being carried out across the Kempsey Shire following heavy rainfall and flooding.
Kempsey Shire Council is checking the condition of sports fields to determine if and when they will be safe to reopen.
An update on the sports fields will be provided by lunchtime Friday 11 March.
