Mitchell Shire Council has engaged an accredited acoustic evaluator to measure noise at the upcoming an upcoming music event over the Melbourne Cup weekend in Tallarook.
The information collected will help provide important information in relation to the event and its compliance with relevant planning permit conditions.
The equipment will be placed at up to six strategic points surrounding the event site itself.
Mitchell Shire Council will have Authorised Officers on site during the event to observe and ensure the requirements of the planning permit are met.
We will continue to work with our residents and businesses alike to ensure everyone in our municipality can enjoy all events.
