Following the Ordinary Council Meeting on 20 September 2023, Leeton Shire Council is pleased to announce the unanimous re-election of Cr Tony Reneker as Mayor and Cr Michael Kidd as Deputy Mayor for the upcoming term (September 2023 – September 2024).
Cr Tony Reneker expressed his gratitude for the continued trust placed in his leadership, stating, “I am honoured to be re-elected as Mayor of this great Shire and committed to continuing my work in serving the community alongside my fellow councillors. This role is a great privilege and honour, one that I do not take for granted.”
Cr Michael Kidd, who will continue his role as Deputy Mayor, said, “I am delighted to continue working alongside Mayor Reneker. Together, we will focus on the well-being of our community and the completion of key projects, such as the Roxy Community Theatre.”
