Mayor Peter Beer today advised Council that following community feedback, discussion with SMRC Councillors and with the CEO, the Public Exhibition period for the following draft strategies be extended to 1 February 2021.
This applies to the strategies below, currently on exhibition:
– Rural Land Use Strategy

Drop-in sessions have been conducted across the region throughout October and November.
Community members may also register for a Zoom meeting with Council’s Strategic Planners.
