Councillors will come together to decide on Snowy Monaro Regional Council’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at an Extraordinary Council Meeting this Friday 8 September 2023, 10.30am, at Council Chambers in Cooma.
The decision to seek a new CEO was made at Council’s April 2023 meeting, with councillors deciding not to renew current CEO Peter Bascomb’s contract. The decision on the new Chief Executive Officer will be made within the confidential session of Friday’s meeting.
Leading recruitment specialists McArthur Recruitment were appointed to lead the search for Council’s new CEO at the June 2023 Council meeting, where councillors also decided who would sit on the interview panel.
All councillors were a part of the interview process.
Council will provide an update following the outcome of this Friday’s meeting.
