Countdown is on for Territory Tourism Vouchers

NT Government

There has never been a better time for Territorians to start planning their next tourism experience with the next round of Territory Tourism Vouchers going live in seven days.

Vouchers valued up to $200 will be available to all Territorians aged over 18 from 8pm on October 4.

The first step to plan the perfect holiday is to check out the outstanding bookable tourism products on one of the NT’s visitor information websites including Tourism Top End here, Katherine Visitor Centre here, Tourism Central Australia here or the Barkly Visitor Centre [https://www.discoverthebarkly.com.au/].

Vouchers can be used on multiple tourism experiences but only if they are booked in one transaction.

An incentive is in place for Territorians who travel more than 400 kilometres to enjoy a Territory tourism experience with an additional $200 bonus claim redeemable.

All Territorians who registered for a voucher during the previous round were issued a voucher allowing more people to benefit from the scheme.

Territorians who receive a voucher are required to book online within 14 days and complete their experience by 31 January 2022.

To register for a Territory Tourism Voucher visit www.territoryvoucher.nt.gov.au [https://www.territoryvoucher.nt.gov.au/] from 8pm October 4.

Quotes from Minister for Tourism and Hospitality Natasha Fyles:

“The countdown is on to book your next local holiday in the Territory and we know there is an abundance of amazing and unique experiences to choose from.

“This is an opportunity for Territorians to see more of their own backyard and explore the diverse regions across both Central Australia and the Top End.

“More than $26 million in bookings have been made as a result of the three previous voucher rounds and I have no doubt Territorians will not hesitate to snap up a voucher from next week.

“We know the devastating impact the coronavirus crisis has had on our tourism industry and that’s why we are bringing back this highly-popular scheme, to ensure we continue to support operators and local jobs.”
