COVID UPDATE: Oakleigh exposure sites

A number of COVID-19 exposure sites have been identified overnight in Oakleigh and other areas following confirmation of an Oakleigh resident who tested positive to the virus on 24 June.

If you attended any of the sites listed below, follow the advice to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.

The sites include:

Flinders St Train Station on Sunday 20 June between 8.38pm-8.52pm

Tier 3 – monitor for symptoms that are similar to the flu including a cough, sore throat, runny nose, fever, fatigue and if symptoms develop get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.

Metro Train (inbound) Broadmeadows Station to Flinders St Station on Sunday 20 June between 8.15pm – 8.38pm

Tier 3 – monitor for symptoms that are similar to the flu including a cough, sore throat, runny nose, fever, fatigue and if symptoms develop get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.

Oakleigh Train Station (Warrigal Rd/Haughton Rd) on Sunday 20 June from 9.15pm-9.30pm.

Tier 3 – monitor for symptoms that are similar to the flu including a cough, sore throat, runny nose, fever, fatigue and if symptoms develop get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.

Coles Oakleigh Central (Hanover St and Portman St) on Sunday 20 June between 9.15pm – 9.45pm

Tier 2 – get tested urgently and isolate until you have a negative result.

Woolworths Burwood East – Burwood Heights Shopping Centre (42-50 Burwood Highway) on Monday 21 June between 5.30pm – 6.15pm

Tier 2 – get tested urgently and isolate until you have a negative test
