As school holidays approach, AgForce is alerting members to the availability of class exemptions for children who board.
To enable families to reunite while there are COVID border restrictions in place, a class exemption enables boarding school students to enter and leave Queensland during this upcoming school holidays:
- Class exemption for Queensland residents boarding interstate and Schedule 1
- Class exemption for interstate residents boarding in Queensland and Schedule 1
Those wishing to travel under the exemption will still need to apply for a Queensland border declaration pass and complete an online form to facilitate quarantine arrangements.
Please note there is also a requirement to quarantine in a private residence for a period of 14 days from the date of arrival.
