Police and emergency services attended a report of a 4WD vehicle roll-over on a section of beach accessed via East Sandy Points Road, Bridport at about 6.20pm last night. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. A 18 year-old man and a 17 year-old female both sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter attended the scene and transported the man and female to the Launceston General Hospital. No one else was injured in the crash. The circumstances relating to the crash are currently under investigation. Anyone with information about this crash should contact police on 131444. |
