Creative kids are invited to put their talents to paper to design Cairns Regional Council’s official Christmas eCard.
This year’s theme is “baubles and bows” and the competition is open to children in the Cairns region aged 13 years and under.
The competition is separated into three age categories – 5 years and under, 6-9 years, and 10-13 years – with the three winners to be invited to switch on the lights on Cairns Esplanade Christmas Tree in December.
The design selected as the overall winner will become the official eCard for Cairns Regional Council.
“The card will be sent electronically to people across Australia and the world as a representation of our region,” Cr Manning said.
“In the past we have received many great entries from talented young artists and I’m looking forward to seeing what the students have to offer in 2023.”
Download an entry form and submit it by 5.30pm, Friday 10 November.
