Kempsey Shire Council
We had a fantastic time at our Nature Loom event with 13 kids and 7 adults present.
The event started with some lovely nature stories, ‘The mushroom and the flower’ by Sally Soweol Han was a particular hit. We also sang nature songs and everyone was in very fine voice.
Everyone then got busy making our nature looms, using cardboard and string to create a net for storing treasures which tested everyone’s fine motor skills. Participants then wove through a wonderful array of flowers, showing real dedication in creating their masterpieces.
It was amazing to see how passionate the kids were about nature and how much they enjoyed learning about the different plants and flowers.
Thanks again to Donna for supplying the beautiful blooms.
