CSIRO’s Appraisals scheme operated from 1978 to 2009, providing technical assessments to help those concerned with the approval, specification and use of new or innovative building products, systems and materials.
CSIRO’s Appraisals scheme closed on 31 December 2009. As all product Appraisals have expired, information contained within them should not be relied on. CSIRO still offers a comprehensive range of testing and consulting services for building and construction. To find out more, view our services.
