Customer service centre reopening

Kiama Council

Council Administration Building exterior

We are re-opening the doors to our customer service centre off Manning Street this Monday (18 October) for limited face-to-face services.

You can visit to make payments and drop-off documents without being fully vaccinated.

We have been preparing the foyer and front counter for re-opening. The foyer has been repainted and we have safety screens and signage to protect our staff and our community.

We are also following our COVID Safe business plan, as are all our facilities.

If you need to come into the admin centre, please:

  • don’t visit if you are feeling unwell
  • wash your hands using the sanitiser
  • practise physical distancing
  • keep your visit short
  • use contactless payments if possible
  • check in via QR Code
  • wear a mask

Importantly, the customer service counter has been purposely set up to service only one customer at a time. This is for everyone’s safety.

We ask for your patience and understanding in adhering to these guidelines, which reflect current NSW Government public health orders.

We also ask you to consider using our online services rather than having to make the trip into our building.

Here are some of the things you can do via our website:

  • pay rates
  • ·order your kerbside bins and bin locks
  • register your dog or cat
  • make a tree management application
  • lodge a pile burning permit
