A bike rider was reported after he was found with a sword in his backpack at Crafers West yesterday morning.
Police were called to the arrester bed on the South Eastern Freeway, Crafers West about 10am on Saturday 15 August by reports of a cyclist stopped on the freeway.
A patrol located the rider and police checks subsequently revealed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
It will be alleged the 36-year-old Tea Tree Gully man also had a 50cm ninja sword in his backpack.
The weapon was seized and the cyclist was reported for carry offensive weapon. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
He was also issued with an expiation notice for riding on the freeway.
