Damaging Property By Fire Charges in Eli Waters, QLD

Police have charged four teenagers following investigations into a wilful damage incident in Eli Waters on 21 August.

Around 7.45pm, police and emergency services were called to reports of a fire involving a sail shade outside an property on Bunya Court which had spread to two nearby vehicles.

A red Mazda 6 sedan and a black Mitsubishi Pajero were damaged, while a nearby motorcycle was undamaged.

Following subsequent investigations, a 15 year-old Eli Waters boy and a 14 year old Urangan boy were both charged with two counts of endangering property by fire and one count receiving tainted property.

A 14-year-old Urraween boy and a 15-year-old Pialba boy were also both charged with two counts of endangering property by fire

All four boys have been dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
