Police investigating two dangerous driving incidents in Gympie have released an image of a vehicle, the driver of which may be able to assist police with the investigations.
Initial enquiries indicate shortly after 11pm last night, 7 September, a silver people mover van was driving north on Duke Street near the intersection with Iron Street when it veered onto a concrete footpath and hit a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was able to walk to his home where he called triple zero.
A 45-year-old Gympie man was taken to Gympie Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Further investigations indicate at approximately 11.16pm, the same vehicle was travelling along Exhibition Road when it swerved in front of a 15-year-old male cyclist who was riding in the bike lane.
The cyclist was uninjured.
Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
