Darwin Symphony Orchestra heading back to 90s!

The 90s are making a comeback with the Darwin Symphony Orchestra’s (DSO) Rhythm of the 90s Concert adding another nostalgic event to the entertainment and arts calendar.

The annual DSO Darwin Amphitheatre concert this year will be joined by a band of talented local musicians set to breathe new life into songs that shaped the decade, with the ensemble tackling everything from Australian classics by Natalie Imbruglia and Tina Arena, to pop favourites by Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears, hip-hop anthems from Coolio and bangers by the legends of metal, Metallica.

The concert will take place on Saturday, 24 June, from 6.30pm at the Gardens Amphitheatre at Darwin Botanic Gardens.

This much-loved event sees 4000 to 5000 people attend each year and features the finest of Territory talent, including a 66-piece orchestra.

For the first time ever, there will be a dedicated dance floor, and an exciting range of vocalists joining the line-up including Natalie Pellegrino, Max Fredericks, Liam Devine and Stuart Fong.

Rhythm of the 90s is supported by Northern Territory Government through Northern Territory Major Events Company and the Community Benefit Fund.

General admission entry is by donation, and registration is essential. Register at here
