We are disappointed to let you know that our recycling collection is experiencing delays as a result of the SKM Laverton North recycling site being temporarily closed again by the Environment Protection Authority, and apologise for this disruption.
The Laverton North closure has meant that our truck drivers are experiencing significant delays in dropping off recycling at the Coolaroo site due to more trucks now using it.
As a result some recycling bins around The Lakes Boulevard in South Morang won’t be collected today. However, please leave your bin out as our truck drivers will be working on Saturday to clear the backlog.
There may be continued disruption over the course of next week, which is unfortunately beyond our control. We will closely monitor the situation and will keep you updated.
