A Denistone man’s lottery journey has taken a sizeable leap thanks to a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries prize allowing him to go from greening his garden to revamping his home.
The Sydneysider held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11107, drawn Tuesday 6 October 2026. He pocketed a cool $100,000.
When we called the unsuspecting man, he was blown away by the news admitting the most he’d won was $500.
“Wow. That’s absolutely amazing!” he exclaimed.
“I’ve never won something like this. That’s incredible.
“I’ve played a little bit here and there over the years and it’s funny, people will always say, ‘You have no chance’ but someone has to win!
“What a wonderful surprise. I’m in shock!
“The most I ever won was around $500. At the time, that went to a bunch of native plants, but I think this might go towards some home renovations.
“Thank you so much. You’ve made my day.”
His winning entry of one number was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
