Detectives appeal for information after burglary of firearms in Tower Hill

Warrnambool Crime Investigation Unit detectives are seeking assistance following a burglary of firearms in Tower Hill this week.

Investigators have been told an unknown offender attended a Princes Highway residence between 5.15pm on 26 August and 6.20am on 28 August.

The offender stole a safe located within the premises containing three firearms and ammunition before fleeing the scene.

The firearms are described as a Tikka model T3 rifle, X Stevens .22 calibre rifle and Gamo air rifle.

No one was home during the incident and the investigation remains ongoing
