Detectives are investigating the death of a man in Burwood last night.
Emergency services were called to reports of a man injured at a property on Winton Street about 11pm.
Officers arrived on scene to discover a man with injuries consistent with a stabbing.
The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
Another man was arrested at the property and will be interviewed by police.
It appears at this stage, the people involved are known to each other.
A crime scene has been established and the investigation remains ongoing.
