Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a carjacking in Lara this morning.
Investigators have been told an unknown man approached a vehicle in a Flinders Avenue school carpark about 7.15am on Wednesday 6 August.
The man threatened the female driver of the silver Mazda CX5 before pushing her out and stealing the vehicle.
The 56-year-old Lara woman was not injured.
The vehicle remains outstanding.
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
