Detectives investigate St Kilda Aggravated carjacking

Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit are investigating an aggravated carjacking and kidnapping which occurred in St Kilda on 6 July.

An 80-year-old St Kilda woman was getting into her car on St Kilda Road about 1.40pm.

As she got into the car an unknown woman opened the passenger door and got into the front passenger seat.

She threatened the victim with what is believed to have been a large carving fork, holding it to her neck, pulled her hair and demanded money.

The offender demanded the woman drive her to the airport but the victim drove the offender to Carlisle Street, St Kilda where the offender has left the vehicle.

The victim then drove home and reported the matter to police.

The offender was wearing white coloured long sleeve shirt, light coloured pants, black jacket wrapped around her shoulders, multi-coloured backpack and black shoes.
