Detectives make 26th arrest amid Strike Force Radius at Tamworth, NSW

A man has been charged as investigations into the supply of prohibited drugs in the New England region continues.

In August 2018, detectives from Oxley Police District established Strike Force Radius, with assistance from the Target Action Group and Crime Management Unit, to investigate the supply of illicit drugs and firearms in Tamworth.

To date, 26 people have been charged relating to Strike Force Radius.

Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 40-year-old man at his home in Aberglassyn about 7.10am yesterday (Tuesday 10 September 2019).

He was taken to Maitland Police Station and charged with receive stolen property, supply prohibited drugs (Methylamphetamine – indictable) and participate in criminal group.

The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Maitland Local Court on Wednesday 9 October 2019.
