Detectives have released CCTV images as an investigation continues into a public place shooting in Sydney’s south west earlier this year.
About 10pm on Tuesday 9 June 2026, emergency services were called to Dellwood Street, Bankstown, following reports of a public place shooting.
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command attended and found a 21-year-old man with a laceration to the back of his neck.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and treated the man; however, he did not require further treatment.
A crime scene was established, and detectives commenced an investigation into the incident under Strike Force Faleto.
As investigations continue, detectives have released CCTV images of a man and vehicle they believe may assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his 20s, with black hair, a black beard and wearing a white jacket.
The vehicle is described as a white KGM utility.
The man and vehicle were seen in the vicinity during the time of the incident on Tuesday 9 June 2026.
